Chevrolet = Bumblebee
Many of you Chevy Truck Parts Blog readers might have already watched the best summer movie of the year, Transformers. If you were a child of the 80’s then I’m quite sure that you’ve probably did not miss it for the world. If you did well then no worries, let me introduce you to bumblebee.

Bumblebee appears in the live-action Transformers movie in 2007, returning to his role as the friend of the Autobots’ human ally - in this case, Sam Witwicky. Sam possesses the glasses of his great-great-grandfather Captain Archibald, a famous explorer. Unknown to Sam, the glasses are engraved with the coordinates showing the location of the life-giving Allspark. Sam offers the glasses for sale on eBay. As a result the Decepticons target Sam. Bumblebee is assigned to guard Sam and tries to get closer to him by posing as a used car, a 1970s Chevrolet Camaro, when Sam’s father is at a car dealer to buy a car for Sam. This is successful: Sam’s father buys this car. Later, when Bumblebee drives away from Sam’s home, Sam thinks somebody is stealing it, and he chases the car on his bike.

When Mikaela criticizes the poor condition of his vehicle mode, the seemingly insulted Bumblebee stops, leaving Sam and Mikaela on the sidewalk of a tunnel, and proceeds to drive past them on his two right wheels, due to the fact that his scanning device is on the bottom of his vehicle. After passing them, a preproduction model of the Camaro passes on the opposite side, and Bumblebee scans it and transforms into the 2008 Chevy Camaro much to the suprise of the two teens.
Go ahead and watch the movie for the rest of the story. Not only you’ll get re-acquainted with your childhood heroes, you’ll also gonna be able to check out the superb cars and trucks!
