November 1 is a significant day for those who have waited so long for the release of the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu.
As a preparation for the release, massive advertising and promotional campaign that will officially be started on October 17.
This is the latest installment to Chevrolet’s Marketing Revolution Campaign that has been dominating the airwaves. The Malibu campaign will focus on the broadcast and online coverage of the Major League Baseball 2007 League Championships and World Series. It will also dominate some primetime programs and cable television.
There will be sequential phases in the launch of the Malibu campaign. The first phase will feature extreme exposure to the consumers in order to get their attention and make them realize that a new contender has arrived. The second phase will involve third party endorsements so as to build credibility and a good reputation for the Chevrolet Malibu. The third and final phase will involve emotionally convince consumers by providing strong evidence why the Malibu is a car that is not worth ignoring.
The campaign, which was created by Campbell-Ewald will also feature messages and information about the Malibu’s quality, reliability and durability. These will also give emphasis on its uniquely designed interior and exterior and of course, its safety.
